BIBLE MUSEUM
Permanent exhibition since 2019
at the Bible Museum of Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität
In collaboration with our architectural partner office DBCO
A selection of manuscripts, prints and papyrus scrolls comprise the core of the exhibition at the Bible Museum. The staging focuses carefully on these valuable and sensitive objects. In a climate-controlled safe that meets the very strict conservation demands, they ‘hover’ sublimely in a dimly lit space. A virtual reality presentation virtually reproduces the space while offering materials and animated infographics that elucidate the contexts as well as a guided tour by the director of the institution.
